Legal
Terms and conditions
This draft terms page is a structured foundation for African Safaris. It is informed by common safari operator terms, but must be reviewed and approved by the owner and legal counsel before accepting production bookings.
Travel proposals
Website package prices and sample itineraries are planning guidance only. A confirmed quotation should define destinations, activities, accommodation, inclusions, exclusions, currency, payment schedule, and validity period.
Bookings and payments
A booking should become binding only after the traveler accepts the proposal and pays the required deposit or full amount. Final deposit percentages, due dates, payment methods, and late-payment consequences remain owner decisions.
Changes and cancellations
Traveler-requested changes may affect availability and price. Cancellation fees should be clearly stated by date range before launch. Supplier-imposed fees, park fee changes, exchange-rate effects, and government tax changes may affect final trip costs.
Travel documents and insurance
Travelers are responsible for passports, visas, vaccination documents, entry requirements, and appropriate travel and medical insurance unless a final contract states otherwise.
Risks and local conditions
Safari travel may involve wildlife, remote areas, weather, road conditions, health risks, schedule changes, and limited services compared with a traveler's home country. Travelers must follow guide, supplier, carrier, and local-law instructions.
Liability and force majeure
Final terms should define liability limits, supplier responsibility, force majeure, itinerary changes, refund handling, jurisdiction, and dispute process.
Privacy and website use
Use of the website and contact forms is also governed by the Privacy notice and Cookie policy.
